Knitting, Crocheting & Needlepoint Classes

Use natural grasses and yarn to weave your own design onto a tree branch. Then make a woven cord to hang your creation onto the wall. If you like this class, you might want to learn how to weave on a loom later this summer.

Enroll your child (10-14 years old) in one or more of this Summer craft sessions. These are gateway activities to introduce youngsters to additional fiber arts to be offered later on this summer. All sessions are on Mondays from 1-2:30 pm and are led by Studio instructor Polly Blair, who holds a degree in children's art education. Each session is $30 including all supplies. Sign your child up for all three sessions and save $10. Sign up multiple family members (parent and child/children or siblings) for the same class and save $5 on each person.

Please call or come in to sign up.

This beautiful lace-weight shawl is worked entirely in the round but surprisingly, its shape is a beautiful crescent. The knitting starts in the middle of the shawl with Judyís magic cast on and then is worked in one piece, shaped with some increases and decreases, then bound off at the top and bottom edges. It is a delightful twist on a crescent shawl.
